Love taking pics but my cell phone does a lousy job…Lived on the Oregon coast (Gold Beach) for years and enjoyed the ocean sounds…now in Newport but inland 7 miles….but the coast is very windy and cold…most of the time so don’t get to enjoy it as much. Need to be there just at the right time..for it changes quickly. Enjoy your pics immensely! I have a friend I follow who does a daily sunset photo and sunrise off the coast in Port Orford, OR. Randy Scholten TheDailySunset.com: Amazing pics…hope you will like his site. I’ll be keeping an eye on you.

We are so lucky, Emilieann, to live near the ocean. I grew up within walking distance of the beach, and now, after thirty years away from it, we’re back. Loving it!
Sitting here in the Coastal foothills sunrises and sunsets are blocked…so I really appreciate pics when I can get them…I have many favorites..Returning to Oregon from Iowa, I caught a fabulous Neb. sunset…I hope to frame it someday.

Awesome. I love it! Love your interpretations. When I saw the first one I thought this is my favorite, then I saw the awesome photography skills you had with the second and thought, no no it’s this one. Then you hit me in the heart with the third one…Sports.Awwwwww. Sports. We got all kinds of movement up in here. You never cease to amaze me with your photo skills.

Great photos as always! I love watching the windsurfers…from my beach chair of course. It takes incredible strength.
Yes, it does, Life. I can’t believe how easily the wind picks the surfers up and snatches them into the air. Some of them, as you know, get quite high in the sky.
I just love that photo of the birds — beautiful! (And I miss the ocean, strange I know coming from someone in Maine… but we just don’t have crashing waves on the bay!)
