I captured these two young lovers at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Besides being a tender moment, this picture is ironic in that these two epitomize the exuberance and joy of life amid the gravestones representing the end of life.

Beautiful shot that captured such a sweet moment,Susan! I read somewhere that cemeteries are romantic places to just talk and enjoy each other’s company. 🙂
I did not know that, Yen, but we go to that cemetery quite often when we’re in Boston because it is historic and so beautiful. It was the first cemetery in the United States that was actually planned to be park-like so people could find peace when they walked through it. Before that time, no one thought of making cemeteries a place of beauty here.

Ha-ha, HG. Um…maybe they were there with his parents (that would be us) because it is a lovely place to walk. That isma picture of my son and daughter-in-law. They are so in love! Every time we turn around, they are kissing.
I can see that love in the tenderness in his face and hand–even in the way he leans in.
