Snow doesn’t often come to Virginia Beach, but I was able to capture one snowy scene from my bedroom window last year:
Boston, however, never seems to run short on the fluffy white stuff:

Beautiful!
Thanks, Leah.

We have snow on the ground here, been there since Monday. Cold too, but warming back up again soon. Ah well…that’s winter in PA. Nice photos!!
We have yet to have any snow, Mama. Sometimes it doesn’t snow here in Virginia Beach all winter.
I’ll come out of the house once the snow has melted off my car! lol
Since we both live in Virginia Beach, maybe we should consider meeting. Or would that take all the excitement out of being blogging buddies?
Do you know we had a snow storm in San Antonio in January 2007? It was a mess because the city did not have equipment and people didn’t and don’t know how to drive when it’s snowing.
I don’t remember getting snow that year, Amy. I do remember the snowfall of 1985 when we got 15 inches. I even have pictures to prove it.
15 inches in SAT, really?
We’re you even born then, Amy? I need to look for tHe pictures. My husband has a pictUre of the Alamo in the snow, but it is framed, so I can’t use that one.
Wow! That’s a big and messy snowfall. I’m shivering just looking at them. Great photos for the challenge. 🙂
Glad that was last year, EC. I’m not ready for snow quite yet.

Beautiful photos. It’s great to see the artistry of snow when I don’t have to shovel it any more.
I used to love the first snowfall when we lived in Connecticut, but after that, my love quickly faded, Shary.
Brrrrrr! Thanks for these great pics Susan, to remind us of how fortunate we are this year in Virginia. No real snow in this part of the state yet and balmy temps prevail. I do love a good snow every so often though – when the freezer’s stocked and there’s plenty of wood for the woodstove.
The past few days have been pretty cold, though, Dor. It’s supposed to get into the upper 60’s by Saturday!
