I love the sunrise and the swan boats!
By the way, there are two emails from me waiting for you to read them… 🙂
Thanks, Val. I read them and will leave you alone for awhile!
Heavens, there’s no need to leave me alone! 🙂
Ha! I just meant that inwouldn’t pester you anymore, Val, about your blog until the new one is ready. I have no intention of leaving you totally alone, my blogging friend.
Great pictures. They remind me that sometimes it is nice to wait for the next good thing to come along, it plays on the idea of expectation! This is an expecially nice reminder given the hecticness of the season.
Yes, Patti, it’s hard to be patient this time of year, but at the same time, I don’t want it too hurry by too quickly, so I don’t mind waiting.
I especially like the lobster traps piled on the dock. My neighbor is a lobsterman and just brought his traps home to store for the winter. It has been damp the past few days and they are especially “fragrant” with sea smells… I could literally smell your picture! A total sensory experience.
I’m ordering a shirt for my son-in-law next week. Maybe I’ll talk to you, Carol!
You know what they say, “good things come to those who wait.” And it looks like you waited for just the perfect pictures! So nice!
Thanks, Mama. I think those swan boats are waiting for me.
Love the sunrise most of all. Great colors. But it’s nice to see some of New England, a place I’ve never been.
Thanks, Patti. That sunrise was taken at the Oceanfront. Maybe one day you will get to see Boston,a place I dearly love.
LOVE your photos! I miss living near the water. I lived in Maine for 6 years and there’s nothing prettier than a dock with a bunch of old lobster boats. I always tell my husband that he can drool over the fancy boats, but all I want is a lobster boat. 😉
I’m with you,DF! I hope you aren’t too far from the water now.
Lovely photos as usual Susan. But when I saw the title I thought of this great waiter I met last night. It was a new restaurant we tried and this waiter (Sam) helped to make it such a pleasant night. So my take on waiting..
I think you should blog about that, Judith!
How striking! That 3rd photo of the beach is especially beautiful.
Thanks, Antigone. That last one was taken one morning right here in Virginia Beach.
Waiting {especially for God’s perfect timing} can truly test our character, well, at least for me.:) I find the last photo hauntingly beautiful. 🙂
Thank you,Yen. Waiting is hard for most of us, isn’t it!
You Beautifully described the word waiting through these photographs.
Thank you for taking the time to comment, Arindam.
