Now this is an exotic environment to me!
Yes, WS, my country loving friend. Have you ever been to NYC?
Really nice photos! The first and last make me a little dizzy. Nicely done. 🙂
I’m always dizzy when I take NYC photos because I get the best ones when I’m looking up. Hurts my neck! LOL!
I love the second reflections photo so much! Nice photos!
Thanks, Julia. NYC is such a photographic treasure trove.
These photos deserve awards! Great observations! Some two years ago, I was in NYC was for my niece wedding. I was overwhelmed by crowds, traffic, and buildings. I think you just taught me to see NYC from a different perspective. Thank you, Susan!
NYC can be overwhelming if you aren’t used to it. I grew up 50 miles from it, my Dad grew up there, and my grandparents still lived there when I was young. My grandfather had a men’s store on Madison Avenue and lived a block away from the store. I have always loved the city. I’m glad you enjoyed the pictures, Amy.
Your first picture hurts my neck a little! 🙂 The second and third are nicely done with the reflections, the birds together on the wire is neat, too.
I think it hurt my neck to take that picture, S of S! 😉
Great photos! I love how the use of “up” with these photos. I wouldn’t have thought like that.
I find myself looking up quite a bit when I’m in NYC. I have a lot of “up” pictures I’ve taken.
Fun pictures – New York is a good place for Up views!
It certainly is, Margie. Thank you.
The first picture is way cool! I love the reflection pictures too. Nice!
Thank you, Mama. I love the birds on a wire. I always think of the Leonard Cohen song.
Great pictures! I had to really look at #1 to get it all. What they did with the cars was clever and especially you for the effect it makes. MC Escher-ish?
Thanks, Georgette. NYC is the best when it comes to taking pictures. I love to play around with angles.
I went over to read “MyPajamaDays”. It’s a great post she has up today. I remember that episode and I remember the comment. How very matter of factly your daughter handled that. Not tmi, just let her own daughter comment. She is very wise that daughter of yours. And I can perfectly understand if you got something in your eye at that moment. It had to have been a very proud moment.
I’m glad you visited My Pajama Days, Georgette. I know you get it, being an awesome grandmother and all.
